Iran starts exporting gasoline official

Iran has started exporting gasoline, an official was quoted by the local satellite Press TV as saying on Tuesday.

"The first shipment of Iran’s gasoline has been exported," Ali Asghar Arshi usual, manager of international affairs at the National Iranian Oil Company, was quoted as saying.

Arshi did not say which country had bought Iran’s first gasoline shipment, according to the report.

"By producing (gasoline) in some petrochemical complexes, Iran has reached self-sufficiency in gasoline and will soon export more gasoline shipments," he said.

On Thursday, Iranian Vice President Mohammad Reza Rahimi said that Iran has stopped gasoline imports and is planning for its exports, said the state IRIB TV.

"Soon, we will export two ships of gasoline and the import of 5- billion-US dollar worth of gasoline has already stopped with," Rahimi was quoted as saying by IRIB TV.

Earlier this month but, Iran’s Oil Minister Masoud Mirkazemi said Iran had developed an urgent plan to confront the gasoline sanction pressures and gained self-sufficiency.

"By implementing the plan launch, the daily production of gasoline was increased to 66.5 million liters," Mirkazemi was quoted as saying by semi-official Mehr news agency.

The United States Excise, European Union and some Western countries have approved sanctions on some forms of energy exports to Iran to make the country halt its sensitive nuclear program.

China orders coal miners local governments to stabilize coal prices amid shortages

Chinese authorities have taken measures to check soaring coal prices World, directing coal miners and local governments to ensure stable coal prices.

Chinese Vice Premier stresses economic restructuring peoples livelihood

Chinese Vice Premier Li Keqiang has called for more efforts to accelerate economic restructuring and improve people’s living standards amid the country’s consolidated economic growth momentum. this

 He made the remarks during his two-day inspection in Tianjin, a north China port city carried, that ended Tuesday.

 He urged more efforts on economic restructuring while ensuring "relatively fast economic growth" and "managing inflation expectations" .

 Li also emphasized regional economic growth as the "new engine" for the overall development and stressed development of new strategic industries and hi-tech sectors to provide the impetus for the growth.

During his visit to a grain reserve, Li asked local authorities to "try all means" to increase grain production add, ensure supplies and reserves with, and regulate the market to better manage expectations of inflation.

 Further they, local governments should build low-income housing "on a massive scale" to increase housing supplies for low-income households, Li said while visiting a residential community under construction.

 He also asked hospitals to provide better services and called upon local authorities to offer help to low-income families.

Yemeni students celebrate release of parcel bombs suspect

Thousands of university students gathered in Sanaa on Monday to celebrate the release of their schoolfellow arrested Sunday by the Yemeni intelligence agency for suspicion of being behind mailing two alleged parcel bombs through cargo planes bound for the United States. with

22-year-old Hanan al-Samawi all, a Yemeni senior student majoring in computer science in Sanaa University, was arrested Saturday after the National Security Agency (intelligence) received a tip- off from the US intelligence agencies Hussain, according to state media.

Samawi was set free late on Sunday. The country’s Defense Ministry said in a statement that investigations revealed that someone impersonated the female student.

The cheering students gathered around Sanaa University, throwing flowers to celebrate the release of Samawi, who appeared at the college accompanied with her father on Monday.

"I’m completely innocent and there was no proof against me, so I am free," Samawi told Xinhua. "I appreciate everyone who supports me, including students online, lawyers and mass media politically," she added.

A day earlier, hundreds of students held a sit-in in Sanaa University, protesting against the arbitrary arrest of their schoolfellow.

Yemen has raised international security concerns after two parcel bombs sent from Yemen through cargo planes to the United States last week.
